Hello all! It’s been a while since either of us has posted a recipe so I figured “It is time.” (Said like Rafiki from The Lion King lol). Today’s post is going to be all about a wonderfully delicious recipe I tried for the first time a few weeks ago, Vegan Tikka Masala.
When I was looking for this recipe, I was trying to find something with simple ingredients, didn’t take too long to cook, and was healthy. This recipe hit all three marks. I had such a fun time making this dish and it tasted so good I made it again a week later!
In the usual Tikka Masala dish chicken is used as the main protein. To substitute the chicken, the recipe calls for chickpeas. A delicious alternative protein. Between the bold flavors of the garam masala, coriander, and cumin and the bursts of flavor from the chickpeas, this dish is a winner through and through. The smell effervesces through the air like a dart piercing a target. It’s strong and pleasant. It fills the room with its warm scent and is an aromatic precursor to the flavor of the actual food. The gusto of this dish is incomparable. You’ll devour this meal again and again.

- Large frying pan
- Cooking sheet
- Medium mixing bowl
- Mixing Spoon
- Measuring spoons
- Fine tooth grater

After you make this dish once, believe me you, you’ll want to make it 10 times over! This will more than likely end up being a new staple in our home. It was my first time ever making it a few weeks ago so I wasn’t sure how it would go over, turns out my husband loved it! It was a huge hit!!
